Blue Whales, Cargo Ships, Surfers, and You!
Note to California: Don't Bury Dead Whales at Popular Surf Spots Pt. 3.
Remember the Ben Marcus editorial we posted about the dangers of burying dead Whales at surf spots?

If you are too lazy to click on the link let's summarize: Cargo Ships are hitting and killing Blue Whales off the coast of California--3 over the past couple of months--and then authorities bury the dead Whales shallowly at the beach because it is easier than towing them far out to sea. What happens? Oils, blood, death, and effluvium from the buried Whales leech out into the surf creating a nice chum slick for the local Great White Sharks in the middle of California's Great White Shark season..hooray! Want proof? Here is it:

The 70-foot Blue Whale carcass buried at Faria Point State Beach near Ventura California a couple of weeks ago is breeching through the sand, causing a stink, making a slick, and attracting Sharks. Local kids were seen playing on the remains and poking the carcass with a stick. Authorities are surprised that the Whale is resurfacing as it was buried 12-to-15 feet deep in the sand. We at The Chum Slick are not surprised at all.
If you can't bury dead Whales at the beach and if you tow them out to sea they sometime float back what the hell can you with a dead Whale? A simple solution is not to make them dead in the first place. The coast guard has repeated the NOAAs warning that large ships, especially cargo ships need to look the fuck out for Whales. In the meantime, watch out for us Sharks you assholes, we love rotting Whale meat. Off Morro Rock in Cayucos California, up the coast a piece from Ventura a large Great White was spotted again this week. There will be a Shark jam on the California coast soon, mark our words.
Here is a classic video clip of what you can do with a dead Whale:

As I remember, I don't think they actually blew up the Whale, I think they just let Rich Asians like Rich Asian Jack dismantle the corpse and use the parts for their "art" projects.
Actually, I don't remember this at all as I am not a person who has ever lived in San Diego, I am a Shark for the love of Cthulhu!
P.S. I've never drank Jamison in my shitty basement apartment in Brooklyn and answer blog comments at 3 in the morning either.
If that is your real name, your parents are pretty cool.
