Provoked Bites Do Not Count Part 2

We have said it before, it does not count when a Shark bites a person that is in the act of Shark fishing. It also doesn't count when a Shark gets tangled up in a fishing net and a fishermen gets bit while trying he is trying to free the Shark. Quentin Gorrell, a crewmember aboard the Prawn trawler, Xanadu I became one of those Shark bitees that don't count. Yesterday, while trying to release a Bronze Whaler Shark from a bycatch reduction device, he was jammed Hard on his right hand. The Shark ripped tendons down to the bone. It took twenty hours to get Quentin to Royal Darwin Hospital, in Australia's Northern Territory. Meanwhile, Xanadu I got stuck on the seabed and had to wait hours for its own rescue. While we appreciate that Quentin did the right thing in freeing the Shark, but his bite still doesn't count.
This is Todd Murashige. He was the guy jammed Hard by a large Tiger Shark while surfing Oahu last week. His jam, does count.
This has got to be one of our favorite underwater shots ever.
