Great White Shark Jam in Croatia?
Our friendly competition over at Swim at Your Own Risk has managed to dig up some videos that claim that a guy was jammed hard by a Great White Shark in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. Markus has some Croatian news videos on his site but we don't understand Croatian so we cannot confirm or deny the allegations...wait, we just found some other stuff about this jam on Mysterytopia.

You can't spell Damjan without J-A-M.
The man jammed was Slovenian, Damjan Pecek. He claims to have been jammed twentyish feet from the shore of Mala Smokova on the island of Vis, Croatia. He said that the Shark was between 12 and 15 feet and was attracted to him because he had just speared a fish. The Shark grabbed his left leg and he hit it over the head with his spear gun. He apparently hit the Shark so hard that his harpoon bent. Later, doctors found two Great White teeth in his leg. Uh, what is it about spearfishing that people don't understand?
As of this writing, there is absolutely nothing about Damjan's jam in the mainstream English press. Not that Shark jams are more important than political and economic news or anything, but...so much for the mainstream media, huh? Viva, el blogosphero!
Oh, you guys like video? Here is a video:
Shark Attack 3: Megalodon was probably filmed in the Croatian part of the Adriatic.
